This is so easy to make and you can add any ingredients to your own taste. I like mine with a bit of sea salt flakes or with lots and lots of dried fruit.
Makes approximately 24
about 8 oz of dark chocolate, I used Callebaut (the higher the percentage of cacao the better)
assorted dried fruits, chopped nuts, and seeds
Put a glass bowl or small pan over another pan of gently simmering water. Make sure the water doesn’t touch the base of the bowl or pan. Put the chocolate into the bowl and leave until melted. Help it along by giving it a stir every now and then.
Line a baking sheet or tray with parchment paper. Dip a tablespoon into the melted chocolate and place a spoonful of chocolate on the parchment paper. You might want to take a second spoon to help the chocolate to come of the spoon and to work neatly.
Sprinkle the ingredients of your choose on top of the chocolate and let the bites set. This might take a couple of hours. I like the chocolate to set at room temperature not in the fridge, as the bites get too hard to my liking.
